Privacy and Cookie Notice
State-approved continuing education.
The provider is committed to protecting the privacy of every student. This notice explains what information we collect when you use n1-training.com, how we use it, the limited cookies and analytics we rely on, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Account and registration details you provide, such as your name, email address, and license number. Your password is stored only as a securely salted, hashed value and is never visible to us.
- Course activity generated as you learn, including lesson progression, time spent in each lesson, knowledge-check responses, completion status, and certificate records.
- Payment information for purchases. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers.
- Support messages you send us, and standard server logs (such as your IP address and browser type) that are used to keep the site secure and working correctly.
Cookies
We use a single, essential session cookie that keeps you signed in while you move between pages. It is required for the site to function and carries no advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is needed.
Analytics
To understand how our pages are used and to improve the site, we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It counts page views and visits in aggregate only. It sets no cookies, does not build advertising profiles, and does not track you across other websites.
Before any page view is recorded, we remove the query string from the page address in your browser, so personal identifiers such as your email address, a sign-in link, or a payment reference are never transmitted to the analytics service. We do not sell or share personal information with advertisers.
How we use your information
We use the information above to deliver and support your courses, verify your identity, record and report your continuing education completion to the applicable state licensing board, issue your certificate, process payments and refunds, respond to your questions, secure our systems, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
When we share information
We share personal information only as needed to operate the service and as required by law: with the applicable state licensing board for the continuing education reporting required of approved providers; with service providers who work on our behalf under contract (such as our payment processor and email delivery); and where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our students and our organization. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep records
Student continuing education records are retained for the two-year period required by applicable state licensing board rules, after which they are securely disposed of. See our Record Retention Policy for details.
How we protect your information
Electronic student records are protected using secure servers, encrypted connections where applicable, salted and hashed passwords, password-protected administrative accounts, routine backups, and regular software updates. See our Student Identity Verification and Security Measures policy for more.
Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account details at any time by signing in to your account. You may also contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request that it be deleted. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
One limit applies to your course records. State continuing education rules require us to keep your completion records for a set period, currently two years. While that legal obligation applies we cannot delete those specific records, even at your request, because we are required to retain them. Once the required retention period ends, they are securely disposed of. This limit does not affect your ability to request deletion of other personal information that we are not legally required to keep.
Because our analytics is anonymous and cookieless there is nothing there to opt out of, but you are always free to use your browser's privacy settings or an ad or tracker blocker.
If we make material changes to this notice, we will update the version shown on our Policies page.
