Other providers' prices were checked on their own websites, most recently on October 19, 2026, and may have changed since; confirm on the provider's site before you buy. Our price is read from our course record each time this page loads. "Two renewals" is this year's course plus next year's at the same price; ours counts our current offer (the next course is free, terms). Other providers' own discounts, if any, are not counted. To check any provider's approval, use the TDLR lookup.

What the price should include

Whatever you pay, a TDLR-approved electrician course should give you all of the following. If a provider cannot show you these, the low price is not a bargain.

TDLR approval you can verify. The provider number and the course number should be printed on the course page and match the board's list. Ours are provider number 2564 and course number 33283; see our provider information page for the board's lookup link.
The full 4 hours of instruction. One CE hour is 50 minutes of instruction, and the board expects the time to be real. Our player enforces the seat time on every lesson, which is what makes the completion defensible if the board ever asks.
Reporting to TDLR. We report each completion to TDLR through the TDLR provider portal as the provider. Ask any provider who files the completion and when.
A certificate you can keep. Ours is emailed as a PDF, typically within 1 business day of finishing, and stays under My Account for two years.
No surprise fees. Our checkout shows the course price and any state reporting fee on one receipt before you pay.

Good to know

Texas electrician CE: the questions people ask

TDLR requires approved continuing education for each license renewal. Our TDLR-approved course (course number 33283) provides 4 CE hours, the renewal requirement it was approved to satisfy. Renewal rules can change and some license types differ, so confirm your own requirement with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation before you buy from any provider.

Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) approves both the provider and each course. N1-Training is an approved provider (TDLR provider number 2564) and this course carries TDLR course number 33283. A course from a provider that is not on the board's list does not count toward renewal, no matter the price.

Look the provider up on the TDLR website using its provider number, and make sure the course number is listed too. Our provider information page shows every number we hold and links straight to the board's lookup, so you can check us in under a minute. Do the same for any other provider in the comparison above.

Plan on the full 4 hours: one CE hour equals 50 minutes of instruction, and the lessons are timed so the credit meets the TDLR standard. You do not have to do it in one sitting. Stop any time and your place is saved; come back on a phone, tablet or computer.

Your certificate is typically issued within 1 business day of finishing. It is emailed to you as a PDF and also appears under My Account on our website. Keep it for two years. If you need it sooner, call us at 214-800-9958.

We report each completion to TDLR through the TDLR provider portal as the provider. Completing CE does not by itself renew your license: you still renew directly with TDLR. We make sure the hours are documented and reported.

Buy a course, your next one is free. Every paid order earns a personal code for 100% off your next course or bundle. One free course or bundle per license number, good for one year after your paid order; any state reporting fee still applies. Leave a quick review of your course to unlock the code. See how it works. Because electrician CE comes around every renewal, the second cycle is where the offer counts: the code from your first paid order is applied to your next course or bundle automatically when you are signed in. The exact terms are always current on our offers page.

Only if it is TDLR-approved, delivers the full hours, reports your completion and gives you a certificate you can keep. A course that skips any of those can cost you a late renewal, which is far more than the few dollars saved. Compare the total at checkout, including any fees, and check the provider number before you pay.
