Texas continuing education: frequently asked questions

Today we offer TDLR-approved continuing education for Texas electricians and HVAC/ACR technicians. Each profession has its own page above with the exact courses, hours and prices. More professions are added as the board approves them.

Every course page shows our TDLR provider number (2564) and the course's own TDLR approval number (33283 and 33284). You can check both with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation directly; our provider information page lists every approval we hold with a link to the board's lookup.

CE hours are based on seat time: one CE hour equals 50 minutes of instruction, as required by TDLR. The lessons are timed so your credit meets the standard. You can stop and resume any time, on any device.

Your certificate is typically issued within 1 business day of finishing a course. It is emailed to you as a PDF and also appears under My Account. We report your completion to TDLR as the provider; keep your certificate for two years. Need it sooner? Call us at 214-800-9958.
